Meet the Virtual Team

My Business Model

Back in the 1800s, when you needed help, you called in the posse. I wonder if it ever occurred to those dust-coated, moustache-sportin’ gunslingers that they were blazing the trail for effective teamwork.

When I am assigned a big project, I call in my posse. They are fast, dependable, creative and affordable. These communications professionals know how to make your employee communications:

Pop, sizzle and satisfy.

I highly recommend the following individuals and agencies. To help you get to know how they think, I asked them to answer one question: What do you love about your job?

I hope you enjoy their answers and take a few moments to visit their Web sites!

+Writers

Cheryl Fenske {contact Cheryl here}

“Each day I come in contact with so many interesting people who let me into their lives – even for a little while – and help me tell a story. Each day and each project is an opportunity to learn something new and share what I’ve learned with others.”

Julie Jacobs {www.wynnecommunications.com}

“I really enjoy interviewing people and getting to know them. It’s particularly gratifying when I’ve asked something and an interviewee will respond, ‘Hmm, that’s a good question,’ ponder a bit and then really open up to me.”

+Designers

Chris Pierson*, JK Design, Inc. {www.jkdesign.com}

“I love the flexibility that I have as both an account manager and a graphic artist. To be able to interact with the client, then turn around and do the actual work, in almost any medium, is extremely gratifying...and I'm not sure it'll ever get old.”

Jim Steen, Acme Design Group {www.acmedesign.com}

“Someone asked me recently to give them the capsulated reason for working with Acme Design Group – after a moment I said because we have this unique ability to combine strategic thinking with that spark of creativity that breaks through the clutter. I think working with Terri over the years has added to that reputation. Our work together has won plenty of design and marketing awards, but more importantly, clients have realized marketing and sales goals.”

+Video Directors, Producers

Monroe Oakley, Pierce Communications {www.piercecommunications.com}

“I love meeting new people and making videos that help them tell their stories. Our team at Pierce has been together a long time, and we’ve been blessed with a lot of repeat business and great referrals. So many of the ‘client relationships’ are more like friendships now… and, for me, there’s nothing better than being creative and doing something you really enjoy with good friends.”

+Photographers

Tom Kosa* {www.thomaskosaphotography.com}

“There are many things I love about what I do, but what really is special to me is the variety of people I get to work with. I get to be a guest in a person’s life and get to learn a bit about what they do. My camera has taken me many places and shown me what an amazing world we live in.”

Michael Branscom {www.michaelbranscom.com}

“It’s always hard to come up with the best thing about my job as a photographer. One thing I would certainly never give up is working from home. When I'm not shooting, I have the luxury of having my three kids and wife around. They like to see what I'm working on, and I can stay in touch with the pleasures of day-to-day family chaos and help out with things. When I'm out shooting...where do I begin? I like so much about it. I'm just happy to be able to remain creative and to meet new people all the time.”

Pete Byron {www.petebyron.com}

“I have an opportunity to meet people, be in situations most people can't and be creative all at the same time. I wake up every day excited to see what the day brings.”
